Small children on the loose!

Today Julianna had to babysit Jack and Kate all day, so we took them with us everywhere we went. First we went to the high school to pick up Ryan from driver Ed. and Julianna showed me around the school. Then we went back home and then we went to see "Evan Almighty" in the Scotia cinema. Every thing's really cheap there: the tickets themselves, the popcorn and the drinks, but it was freezing inside. After the movie ( it was really good ) we went to "Jumping Jack's" for ice cream but Julianna and I got cotton candy. Then we watched a couple people water skiing. When we got home we got our swimming stuff on , put the sprinkler under the trampoline and jumped around. It was really fun because we were 5 people jumping around at once. After Jack and Kate went home Julianna and I finished our movie, and......that's it.

Sadly I forgot to take pictures of all these events.

A fun day!!

The next day I got up really early and continued reading Harry Potter. After breakfast Julianna and I went to the Yacht Club with grandpa, went on the boat and helped him scoop some water out of the boat. Then we drove back to the house and helped grandma and aunt Joanne with some yard work. After lunch we decided to go to "Carvels" for ice cream on our way back to Albany. Grandma went with us. The ice cream was gigantic and really tasty :)

After we said bye to grandma we went to the dollar store that was there. It was really fun because Julianna and I dressed up in random things and took pictures of ourselves.

That was really fun!!!!!!!

The owner of the dollar store saw us running around and looked at us weirdly when he saw us wearing the hula skirts.

Julianna and I even had a noodle fight and a sword fight, but we forgot to take pictures of that.

And as you can see we were really tired on the way home.

......and then I said hello to Emmi. :)

Hey!!! Faces I know!!

I walked out to the place where people pick you up and there the people closest to the door were Julianna and aunt Joanne waving with big grins on their faces. Julianna was wearing a bright orange t-shirt and holding up a "Welcome Dani" sign. Surprisingly I wasn't really tired on the way home. Julianna was very happy.....as you can see.

Madrid to New York

On the next flight I sat next to a Spanish 18-year-old girl called Marta. She could speak English enough to communicate although she didn't really know the past tense. She was really nice and we talked a lot. We took off at 17:35 and landed in New York at 19:06 local time ( the flight was about 7 and a half hours long). There were only two good things about the flight: Marta , because she was really nice, and that there is a lot of foot space on long Iberia flights. When we landed I walked with Marta to the customs area and then said goodbye to Marta, the "French way." After I gave the lady there my customs card she said
"You're good to go , honey."

Vienna to Madrid

The first flight was ok. We took off at 12:50 and landed in Madrid at 15:25. I mostly just stared out of the window. In Madrid I walked for about 10-15 minutes to get to my gate and then I had to wait a long time before boarding the plane, because there was some kind of problem with so many people.

I'm ready to leave

Got the tickets, checked in my suitcase, so I'm ready to leave. Said bye to dad, waved, cried 2 little tears, but no more, .....I was on my own.

Tickets

We got the tickets without a problem.

Saying Goodbye

After saying goodbye to mom at home dad and I were on the road at about 7:45. It took us a little over two hours to get to Vienna. Then we parked on the 7th floor of a parking house and went down to the check-in.
