Twelve Oaks Mall

On Wednesday we took Aubrey to piano lessons and played cards in the waiting room. Then we went to the mall and walked around. We tried on some dresses in a really expensive store and I tried on a hat that was enourmous. . We ate dinner at Big Boy's and then we went home and went swimming again.

La Guardia to Detroit

On Tuesday I got up really early and grandma and I were on the road at about 9 o'clock. We drove to La Guardia , and since we had already gotten my boarding pass on the internet the day before, grandma checked me in and changed my seat on a touchsreen computer. Grandma got a ticket to go with me to the gate and we went through security. As usual grandma beeped (because of her knee) when she went through the metal detecter.
After waiting a while at the gate grandma left and I boarded the plane. A really cute baby sat next to me, well it was cute until it started stinking. We had to wait about 1 hour to take off because there were lots of other planes and we had to wait our turn. And since the baby was already stinking so much the mom changed the baby's diaper next to me on the seat.
We finally took off and the flight was a little more than 2 hours. I read Harry Potter the whole time.
Then we landed, I got off, went on an airbus and going down the stairs I could already see four happy faces, waving.
They told me that my luggage would be at carousel #6. We waited or about 15-20 minutes, then realized that we were the only people waiing there so we went to carousel #4 and it said NY-Detroit: completed. I found my bag and we had a good laugh. On the way home we stopped at a corn on the cob drive-through and got some corn. At home we hung out and when it got dark we went into the pool and the hot tub. Then we watched ^Big Fat Liar^ which is hilarious.

Ithaca

On Sunday we went to church----> so much fun in albany, then we came home and ate lunch with the quadrad and then we were off to Ithica. It was about a 4 hours drive and then we finally arrived. I met aunt Sally and uncle Chuck, who are both really nice. Julianna, Emmi and I went swimming first and then we went tubing. It was really fun, exept for two evil waves that killed my back. We ended up pretty brused, but ok. In the evening we had a camp fire and made s'mores. The next day when we got up and saw our bruises I said

" Oh no, I'm ugly all over"

and Julianna said

" Now you know how I feel" ...lol

Aunt Joanne and I drove home at around eleven and stopped for really good home made ice cream. I got to Grandma's pretty late and I was really tired.

Free Bread!!

Still Saturday. After going to the rescue mission we went to Casey's house. Keenan was already waiting for us there ( she had worked that day at a bread shop ) with about 7 big loaves of bread, danish and other goodies. After stuffing ourselves with the free bread we watched the movie ^ 10 things I hate about you ^ which is an awesome movie. After the movie played guitar for a while and then Dave brought Julianna, Keenan, Ryan and me home. I showed Dave my blog and by the time I was in bed it was already about 2 o'clock in the morning. That day was so fun!!

Fun has many meanings!

On Saturday we went Julianna, Emily and I went shopping at crossgates mall. First we went to Deb's to try on desses. We each picked one dress for ourselves and one for the other two. Then we tried them on and took pictures. After that we wetn to another store and I saw this dress, tried it on and fell in love with it. It fit perfectly and it was gorgeous, but then i looked at the price tag: it was 100$ !!!!!!! Then we saw a 10 for 5$ sale at Icing and I got 32 pairs of earrings for 2$. It was really fun!!!

Then we went to church and then to the Rescue mission. Julianna and I went in a car with the quadrad (Casey, Ryan, Keenan and Dave, who was driving). There we first listened to an impressive life story of a man there, then we put on gloves and a paper hat and went to work. Julianna and I filled pitchers with ice and water and then we set them on the table. And afer the church service in which Ryan played the guitar and two of our girls sang we started serving the food. i first served green beans and then switched with Casey to serve the bread. I never would've thought that serving food to homeless people could be that much fun.

Today Julianna had to babysit Jack and Kate all day, so we took them with us everywhere we went. First we went to the high school to pick up Ryan from driver Ed. and Julianna showed me around the school. Then we went back home and then we went to see "Evan Almighty" in the Scotia cinema. Every thing's really cheap there: the tickets themselves, the popcorn and the drinks, but it was freezing inside. After the movie ( it was really good ) we went to "Jumping Jack's" for ice cream but Julianna and I got cotton candy. Then we watched a couple people water skiing. When we got home we got our swimming stuff on , put the sprinkler under the trampoline and jumped around. It was really fun because we were 5 people jumping around at once. After Jack and Kate went home Julianna and I finished our movie, and......that's it.

A fun day!!

The next day I got up really early and continued reading Harry Potter. After breakfast Julianna and I went to the Yacht Club with grandpa, went on the boat and helped him scoop some water out of the boat. Then we drove back to the house and helped grandma and aunt Joanne with some yard work. After lunch we decided to go to "Carvels" for ice cream on our way back to Albany. Grandma went with us. The ice cream was gigantic and really tasty :)



After we said bye to grandma we went to the dollar store that was there. It was really fun because Julianna and I dressed up in random things and took pictures of ourselves.















That was really fun!!!!!!!

The owner of the dollar store saw us running around and looked at us weirdly when he saw us wearing the hula skirts.




Julianna and I even had a noodle fight and a sword fight, but we forgot to take pictures of that.






And as you can see we were really tired on the way home.
